The College Avenue Presbyterian Church, built by Julia Morgan , is having a pancake Tuesday tonight from 6 to 7 PM to celebrate Mardi Gras, the beginning of Lent. They'll be serving a free pancake dinner in their gym, as well as leading some traditional Pancake Tuesday games and family fun. Bring your skillet for a pancake relay race, a Shrove Tuesday custom dating back to the Middle Ages in England.
