Teach your child about Bay Area maritime history by taking them to the Maritime Museum on San Francisco's Fisherman Wharf. On the first Saturday of every month, from 8PM to 12PM, a nearby sailing ship (at the Hyde Street Pier) hosts chantey singing (bring warm clothing and a mug for hot cider).
