Bass Pro Shop at Crossings Drive in Rocklin, CA- so much free fun (if you don't buy anything, of course!)

Last weekend we visited the Bass Pro Shop off Highway 80 in Rocklin, California.  We see the shop all the time from the freeway but had never been inside.  It is like a Disneyland of outdoor sporting goods.  Amazing displays.  They are also generally pet-friendly.  There are plenty of free things to do in the store.  Of course, we had an agreement ahead of time that we were just doing research and we came away with a catalogue that my son has been studying for his holiday list!

Imaginets magnets include a carrying case

The Imaginets magnets even include a carrying case!  I love toys that you can keep everything together!
It includes a creative set of magnetic wooden shapes that come in a sturdy case that doubles as a design surface for the magnetic pieces.  This is a fun activity for children older than 3 years old.

Halloween Memories and new traditions, 2015

New Tradition, !st ever corn maze in Petaluma, CA on November 1, 2015 at Petaluma Pumpkin Patch.

My son went through his first ever corn maze today at the Petaluma Pumpkin Patch at 450 Sony Point Rd. in Petaluma, CA.  They are open in the evenings also, but I recommend doing the day maze first.  They also had a small, free maze and large hay bales to climb on.  Of course, they had pumpkins and carmel corn.

I recommend this as a fun tradition!
