I found about Apple Hill ranches from a teacher friend of mine. It was a tradition in their family to go to Apple Hill every year in the fall. In Michigan, where I'm from, people flock to the cider mills for fresh hot doughnuts and cold, fresh apple cider. This weekend is a celebration at Denver Dan's apple patch. It is Denver Dan's 80th birthday party and the ranch's 50th anniversary celebration. There will be cake and cider, pony rides, music, balloon animals, etc.
