worst school violence ever in U.S. history

My heart is so saddened by the shootings yesterday in Connecticut.  During the day, I was teaching in the classroom and found out about the shootings from calling my mother at my break.  I can't help but thinking what needs to change in society so that we live in a more peaceful and safe society.  What happened yesterday proves that things need to change.
