My friend, who is homeschooling her two children, belongs to a group called SF BUN which is a San Francisco Bay Area of California group. They meet every Tuesday to do a playmate at a park. I went to the park playmate once in the summer, and there were an assortment of ages of children, and it appeared to be a fun, family activity!
