Golden Gate Park with Kids

We had a great time visiting Golden Gate Park this past weekend, where we visited the carousel (320 Bowling Green Drive) and nearby "Koret Children's Quarter."

The Koret Children's Quarter is an amazing playground.  It has a large concrete slide, which kids slide down using cardboard from boxes.  The playground has a huge play-structure, with an enormous rope tower for climbing.  Watching your child climb to the top of the rope structure, or slide down the steep slide, is not for the faint of heart; it is a fantastic experience for adventurous kids though!  The park is very well maintained; it can get pretty crowded on a beautiful day, but clears out when the fog rolls in.
