This set of markers is wonderful for a child's small hands. My son has a journal and he draws pictures in it with these markers. They have been so well used that I need to get him a new set soon. Students first writing is drawing, and then sharing about what they have read. My son loves to draw pictures of trains right now. When I taught Kindergarten, we would have them work on coloring a picture with at least three colors.
