I still have a friend who I met in Kindergarten! Her mom gave my son the book "Stranger in the Woods" a few years ago. It also comes in a movie DVD version as well as a soundtrack. I love this book as it reminds me of growing up in the snow and all that includes! It truly is a photographic fantasy! The book has won many awards, including the 2004 National Humane Society KIND Award. It is dedicated "For those who protect wild places and to the snowman that lives in every child's heart."
