One of the things my son got from his uncle was a lego "Castle" kit for ages 6 to 12. The kit includes 248 pieces and this is a building toy. My son is 5 and 1/2 and needed someone to sit with him and help him put this together. Then, when it was completed, it did come apart. It is not a permanent toy after it was built, and it is important for children to be told this as it was a little upsetting for my son when it started coming apart.
My son said, "I like this kit because it was fun to put together!"
